SYNOPSIS :

5 DAYS OF WAR sees the President of Georgia (Garcia; Ocean’s Thirteen, God Father Part III) announce that the country is going to war with Russia over the territory of neighboring South Ossetia. American reporter Thomas Anders (Friend; The Young Victoria, Pride and Prejudice) along with his cameraman Chris Bailot (Dean Cain; CSI: Miami, Smallville) are deployed to cover the unfolding events in Georgia as the warfare becomes more savage and loss of life more extreme. As the journalists delve deeper into Georgian life, they get caught in the crossfire when an air raid strikes a local wedding they stumble upon. It is now their mission to report back the horrific violence they’ve witnessed to the rest of the world and help reunite Tatia, a young Georgian girl (Chriqui; Entourage, Thirteen), with her family. Together they begin to unravel the untold reality of warfare and find themselves in more danger than they ever could have imagined.

SYNOPSIS :
A young boy travels to China to visit his father on a dig, and with the help of a new Chinese friend, discovers a real-life, but benevolent dragon.
The film follows teenagers Josh (Louis Corbett) and Ling (Li Lin Jin),who join their respective parents, Chris (Sam Neill) and Dr Li (Wang Ji)on an archaeological dig in China. However, they soon find a monster deep in a cave,which they soon realise is a mystical dragon that has lost its magical pearl,prompting a battle between good and evil.

Plot Summary :
Hua Mulan is a heroine who joined an all-male army, described in a famous Chinese poem known as the Ballad of Mulan. The poem was first written in the Musical Records of Old and New from the 6th century, the century before the founding of the Tang Dynasty; the original work no longer exists, and the original text of this poem comes from another work known as the Music Bureau Collection, an anthology of lyrics, songs, and poems, compiled by Guo Maoqian during the 12th century. The author explicitly mentions the Musical Records of Old and New as his source for the poem. Whether she was a historical person or whether the poem was an allegory has been debated for centuries—it is unknown whether the story has any factual basis.
The time setting of the story is uncertain. The earliest accounts of the legend state that she lived during the Northern Wei dynasty (386–534) but there has been no proof. However another version reports that Mulan was requested as a concubine by Emperor Yang of Sui China (reigned 604–617). Evidence from the extant poem suggests the earlier interpretation.

Where the Wild Things Are (2009)

Plot Summary :
An adolescent named Max has an active imagination, and he will throw fits if others don't go along with what he wants. Max, following an incident with Claire (his sister) and her friends, and following a tantrum which he throws as a result of his Mother paying more attention to her boyfriend than to him - runs away from home. Wearing his wolf costume at the time, Max not only runs away physically, but runs toward a world in his imagination. This world, an ocean away, is inhabited by large wild beasts, including one named Carol who is much like Max himself in temperament. Instead of eating Max like they normally would with creatures of his type, the wild things befriend Max after he proclaims himself a king who can magically solve all their problems.
